I just saw video of McCain talking in Memphis in front of a.... well... not partcularly warm audience. While it's kinda painful to hear the booing of a candidate I like, I am impressed that McCain was willing to get up there and speak (as opposed to Bush, who seems only to speak in front of crowds that he knows will cheer for him). If Hillary can only get 14% of the black vote, I don't think McCain really has any hope of getting much from them. I think he was doing it to, well, do the right thing...
